In advance of #ATmosphereConf in Vancouver 2026, we wanted to re-organize the hive in preparation for Spring!
This is the redesign of the BookHive website & iOS app, announcing features like:
- New Design: browse your books in our new web & mobile interfaces
- Book Shelves: We now interoperate with popfeed's lists feature to offer BookHive shelves, create Book shelves to track lists of books: like recommendations, themes and series
- PDS hosting: don't have a bluesky account? Want an alt for your library? Join BookHive with a
.bookhive.socialhandle - Book Catalog: now, all book data is on-protocol, hosted at the
@bookhive.buzzaccount. All new records will link to a corresponding record in the catalog, allowing you to index even more data about your collection across users
